Be creative at the West Wilts Show. Come along and join in some great free workshops and activities for the whole family. Here's a taster of what's on offer.

Your opportunity to try out two different styles of samba – hip-hop and reggae – and get a chance to perform on the main stage! No musical knowledge needed.
Learn dances from the hits High School Musical, Hairspray and Kung Fu Fighting! No experience needed.
Lively music and singing sessions for those aged one to four. Learn finger rhymes and songs, and enjoy moving to music using percussion instruments and puppets. All with a strong emphasis on fun!

Go to the Show office (portacabin) outside the Civic Hall for locations.
Come along and join the Wiltshire Scrapstore in the main activity tent in the children’s area and decorate your own tee-shirt with fabric crayons. You can keep your tee-shirt and wear it over the Summer!
Butcher, baker, candlestick-maker… fairy, mermaid, clown – come along and join Anne in the main activity tent in the children’s area and make your own funky figure. If you think you’re too old for all that, then make a brilliant badge instead. We will use all sorts of colourful and varied scrap materials, just bring your imagination.
The Gardening Club invite children up to the age of 12 to come along to the main activity tent in the children’s area and "pot a plant" or "sow some seeds" to take home and care for. All plants and materials provided.
Come along and create and make your own minature garden to take home. You will also have the opportunity to enter a daily competition for the best minature garden. If you enter you will need to leave your garden for judging and collect it between 4 and 4.30pm on the same day.
Each day’s prize winners will be listed on the Show website after the event and prizes will need to be collected from Palmer Gardens in Trowbridge from Monday 27 July.
Prizes will be a selection of ‘gardening related goodies’

Are you bored with traditional sports? Why not come along and sample some exciting alternatives at this year’s Show. You will find us on the tennis courts behind the Town Council marquees. Throughout the three days there will be skateboarding, Ultimate Frisbee and a climbing wall.
Thursday 23 and Friday 24 July
Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, come and have a go with BMX and skateboard coaches from Rubicon Skateboards. All necessary equipment is available for skateboarding. For BMX bring your own bike. Helmets must be worn.
Saturday 25 July
Come and have a free climb. Qualified instructors will be on hand to guide both beginners and the more advanced. You can test yourself on the different levels.
Over the three days come and try your hand at this fast growing sport.
All activities are free of charge.
All participants will need to sign in at the gazebo at the front of the courts.

Flip Juggling is a professional husband and wife team running Juggling Workshops at festivals all over the UK.
Come along and join them in the children’s activity area. Adults and children of all levels and abilities are invited to participate. Enjoy a free lesson with flower sticks, poi, diadolo, staff or juggling balls. All equipment will be provided, so just bring yourself and a smile!
Like any art form, the art of juggling has no rules or limits, allowing the freedom to be creative and the opportunity to express oneself.
